Counselling and Psychotherapy in Inverness and The Black Isle.
Welcome to my website, and thanks for visiting.
My name is Ellie MacQueen and I am a person-centred counsellor based in the Black Isle and Inverness. I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling them to enhance their life and to live it more fully.
Counselling offers the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings without being judged.
I am experienced in helping clients who have difficulties with :
This list is not exhaustive - if there's something specific that's troubling you, please contact me and we can talk about this in confidence.
I have a private and confidential counselling room in the quiet rural location of North Kessock on the Black Isle, and also in Inverness City Centre. There is convenient parking at both of these locations.
As a person centred counsellor I offer you a confidential helping relationship where you can explore life's difficulties in a safe and confidential space. I won't judge you. In today's world we are all running at such a fast pace that sometimes it's difficult to catch up with ourselves. A lot of the time we are on "Automatic Pilot" - finding little time to listen to ourselves or to recognise our own needs. Everyone else is in the same boat, and as a result, it can often feel like no one is really listening in today's chaotic way of life. Within my counselling approach I offer you a space where you will be heard, and where you can hear yourself.
Counselling can help you to achieve better ways of coping with life's difficulties, and to develop greater self confidence in being able to deal with problems.
As well as offering counselling and psychotherapy I am also a mindfulness practitioner and trainer. I work with people to help them reduce their stress , and to develop ways of getting more out of life. You can read more about mindfulness below:
